- Lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- Take responsibility in all physical weighing performance related topics. Including lead taskforces and customer support cases
- Organize, delegate, and oversee team tasks and projects to guarantee on-time and high-quality completion Further develop and maintain the measurement infrastructure
- Facilitate communication and collaboration within the R&D and with other departments
- Contribute to our product design requirements
- Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities for team members
- Monitor team performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
- Push efficiency and accuracy in projects by enhance automation and simulation expertise
- You have a degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or physics (ETH/FH)
- You bring at least 3 years of proven work experience in a leadership role
- You have in-depth knowledge of physical measurement and control technology and professional experience in an industrial high-tech environment
- You are proficient in relevant software tools and technologies, such as MATLAB, Maple, Mathematica, OOP languages
- You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to motivate and inspire a diverse team
- Furthermore, you are fluent in English. German is a huge advantage
