District Manager

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Will look at Candidates that are located in the Midwest, Southwest, Southeast, and Central regions of the country

The District Manager will provide leadership, coaching, and developmental feedback to direct reports for both individual and corporate development. This individual will manage the team's KPI performance and maintain established planning and reporting systems.

Responsibilities will include:

• Recruiting, developing, and retaining high performing sales representatives

• Ensuring that team members have the required product, sales, and business system training necessary to perform their job responsibilities and to be compliant with established processes.

• Implementing and evolving team responsibilities in line with corporate guidelines and definitions.

• Developing coaching, and leading direct reports to sustainably achieve and exceed the minimum level of performance expectations.

• Managing activities to support sales and marketing initiatives, including qualification, and nurturing of sales leads and opportunities obtained from various lead sources when applicable.

• Measuring team development and sales progress on a regular basis utilizing CRM and business intelligence to make sure that we are tracking towards set targets. 

What You Need to Succeed

Bachelor’s degree in a biological science is preferred; or a related degree and a minimum of five years related experience and/or training in Life Sciences.

Must have at least 2 years sales management experience

Must have experience in “Consultative Selling” techniques

Proven ability to direct others in a multitask environment.

High energy level with a strong customer focus.

Ability to utilize a data base system to record and extract information.

Must have strong “Time Management Skills”

Valid driver license and clear driving record required

Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%

Must have a strong background in Life Sciences
