Regional Market Manager - Laboratory

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Share the SBU vision, values and strategy with the region and help translate them into local annual marketing plans for sales, marketing and service initiatives, including the local planning, organization and execution of product launches.
  • Foster and deepen relationship with MOs. Act as trusted and responsive first point of contact for regional stakeholders and the main interface between headquarters in Switzerland (SBUs) and local market organizations.
  • Recognize local market dynamics, customer needs and competitor activities. Provide insights and direction to MOs to identify opportunities and threats 
  • Monitor MO performance metrics to gain insights for the development and implementation of market strategies that address emerging business opportunities to achieve business objectives and revenue targets across various distribution channels.
  • Maintain deep know-how of pH Lab value selling and marketing tools, keep on top of all SBU product related communication to MOs
  • Enable best practice sharing between MOs to leverage the collective intelligence while minimizing efforts. Support with marketing communication tasks such as testimonials, radiation presentations, success stories etc. 
  • Support the SBU in providing feedback about local market requirements and bringing the voice of the MOs and customers to tailor offerings to market demands in regards to: 
    • Product development projects 
    • Training concepts 
    • Marketing activities and campaigns
    • Strategy development
  • Admin: Prepare regular reports for management, manage own budget for regular visits of assigned countries for business review and planning (Sales &Service) or visit to SBU in Switzerland 

What You Need to Succeed

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in related industry
  • Proven track record in market management, business development, sales, marketing or product management
  • English: fluent in writing and spoken. Other 'Asian' languages is a plus
  • Broad application knowledge and understanding of marketing communication specific KPIs
  • Good business sense with 'hunter' mentality and customer-centric approach, whereas the customer is the local market organization
  • Proficiency in data analysis and CRM software
