We are looking for a creative problem solver focused on creating great employees’ experiences while proactively mitigating risk by finding innovative, automated solutions to eliminate, streamline, improve and standardize processes and systems. Key responsibilities:
- Preparing GL entries in SAP, to record all relevant transactions on a daily basis, and taking ownership of diverse closing activities to ensure all activities listed in our closing checklist are properly and timely recorded in our books,
- Preparing Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations, ensuring appropriate backup in place to support balances and resolve any reconciling or overdue items in a timely and appropriate manner,
- Assisting with SOX compliance, internal audit and external audit requests,
- Participating in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes,
- Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices,
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance accounting procedures,
- Implementing best practices and documentation to improve workflow and accuracy.
- Degree in Finance/ Accounting,
- 3+ years experience within accounting/finance,
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken),
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Record to Report processes, process improvement,
- Strong problem-solving ability combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate clearly and influence leadership teams in both product areas and finance,
- Understanding of SOX framework,
- Experience working with global services, understanding of roles and responsibilities within the contract,
- Knowledge of SAP will be your asset.
