Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Process Analytics is a division within the METTLER TOLEDO Group and a leading supplier of field instruments for the analysis of liquids and gases in the process industry. For our main site in Urdorf (CH) for an initiative person as an Industry Manager, Hygienic Segment 100% (all genders).

You will push the collaboration with our regional sales teams in order to help define target markets and set strategies for the Ingold portfolio.

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

Perform continued assessments of target market and segments and their trends; Main focus: Brewery, Dairy, Sugar & Starch as well as Pharma and Life Sciences.
Identify new business and sales opportunities within the industry and come up with respective proposals.
Contribute to definition and execution of the segment strategy.
Collaborate closely with Product Management with respect to new product development and product lifecycle management.
Support growth initiatives through intensive direct customer contact together with local sales force.
Generate content for marketing tools (e.g. application notes, success stories, white papers etc.).
Train customers and regional sales force on applications.
Extensive international travel (approx. 40 - 50%).

What You Need to Succeed

Following requirements are necessary for this role:

You have a degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Life Sciences, (Bio-)Chemical Sciences/Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent.
You bring a minimum of 10 years of work experience in Sales and/or Marketing.
Strong technical and commercial market understanding; established network in brewery and dairy, ideally pharma.
Extensive knowledge of the food & beverage and (bio)pharmaceutical industries, including processes and regulations.
You are familiar with process instrumentation, automation and control, preferably analytical instrumentation.
You have excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written.
You are Self-driven, independent, and confident in multicultural environments, with the ability to operate effectively at all organizational levels.
