CNC Plastics/Machine Operator

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

CNC Plastic Operator  Should be capable of safely operating table saw and table routers to efficiently produce quality parts ensuring that the schedule is being followed and priorities are being met for the end result of providing exceptional customer service.


·         Ability to fabricate plastic parts from engineering drawings

·         Perform inspection checks on processed parts

·         Utilize routers for deburring operations  

·         Operate drill press, lathe and milling machine

·         Perform machine maintenance

·         Operate machinery daily in an advanced safety conscious manner

What You Need to Succeed

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

·         Proficient blueprint knowledge, with attention to dimensions and tolerances

·         Machine shop practices

·         CNC programming knowledge

·         CNC operational knowledge/understanding

·         Proficient blueprint knowledge

·         Attention to Tolerances and interpretation

·         Understanding of tooling/set-up requirements

·         Ability to constantly improve machining knowledge

·         Ability to safely lift 50 lbs and work in multiple positions

Minimum Education / Experience Required:

    ·         High School or equivalent (GED)

    ·         Trade school or apprenticeship program (preferred)

    Physical Demands:

    ·         Ability to lift 50lbs

    ·         Ability to work in multiple positions

    ·         Load and restock raw material sheets
