POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

The Product Manager serves a combined role as product marketer and application engineer.   Works closely with Production Organization product managers, Sales, Technical Support and customers to promote an understanding of the capabilities and application of designated liquid analytics products lines.  Responsibilities include assisting development of marketing campaigns, training sessions and tradeshows.   Provide internal sales and resellers with information relating to new products, pricing and promotions.  The Product Manager is a leader in product technical and application knowledge and will also conduct application testing.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •        Execute new product introduction including launch and training to sales channel.
  •        Develop relationships with key customers to understand core customer needs.
  •        Coordinate tradeshows and technical conferences to support product portfolio. 
  •        Participate in segment trade and scientific organizations.
  •        Respond quickly to queries and customer care issues.
  •        Provide application engineering support to assist with driving sales
  •        Coordinate with Technical Service to establish top notch technical understanding and support capabilities. 
  •        Works in collaboration with other Product Managers for industries that span multiple product lines.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sciences or Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of product management experience
  • Process experience with Chemical or Petrochemical, Brewing and/or Biotech related industry
  • Strong cross-functional team contributor.
  • Experience with pH, oxygen, CO2 and conductivity measurements a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to include public speaking.
  • Able to travel 25% of time, including customer sites.
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision including good decision-making skills.
  • Good electrical and mechanical skills.
