Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The Digital Workplace Solutions team has launched a workplace modernization program leveraging Microsoft 365 solutions as the main technology platform of the program. To enforce the team we are looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Enterprise Voice Engineer.

In this role, your responsibilities would include: 
  • As Network Voice Engineer within the Digital Workplace Operations team you will be specifically responsible for providing operational support for over 15,000 employees at Mettler-Toledo using Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Phone System platforms as also some Avaya systems
  • Further you will leverage internal and partner resources to not only maintain the business service levels, but also identify improvement opportunities to enhance the quality of service provided by the voice solutions
  • You will provide incident, request and change management support for our customers across the globe on MS TEAMS MS Phone System as also maintaining and supporting Avaya Telephony and Contact Center system
  • Additionally you will maintain knowledge base documentation that can be leveraged by support persons, enforce global solution designs and policies (e.g. group policies) across the enterprise and collaborate with project and other teams to guarantee smooth handover to Operations
  • Last but not least you will support the continuous improvement of the overall service through process improvement initiatives such as knowledge base article creation, and process automation

What You Need to Succeed

  • You have a completed technical education combined with experience with managing voice policies and configuration on Lync and Skype for Business 2015 or Skype for Business Online
  • You are experience in working with Microsoft 365 Phone System, Calling plans and Direct routing preferred as well as with deploying and managing local telephony infrastructure especially PBX and Session Border Controllers (Audiocodes, Ribbon / Sonus, Oracle)
  • You have worked with defining end user and room hardware requirements / specifications (headsets based on user type, specifications based on room type)
  • Experienced in administering and support of Avaya technologies as well as good understanding of IP telephony supporting contact centre environment would be a plus
  • You have an entrepreneurial attitude combined with excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English, further language skills are a plus
  • You are a networker with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with market organizations and customers. With your leadership skills you should be able to motivate people in matrix organization and get things done
