Manufacturing Engineer - Entry Level

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The Americas HUB produces products within the METTLER TOLEDO Lab, Industrial and Retail product families and provides product fulfillment into the Americas markets. The entry level Manufacturing Engineer position works in the manufacturing area and supports the assembly operations. This position works closely with the Operations, Engineering, and Materials teams while optimizing our production processes, NPI and phase out activities. 

  • Assist in work center layouts, materials flow and processes to improve productivity and eliminate waste 
  • Champion Lean Manufacturing culture on the shop floor 
  • Provide root cause analysis support to eliminate disturbances 
  • Collaborate with product teams to improve product configuration and testing 
  • Monitor and improve operational processes 
  • Provide daily work center technical support (2nd Level support)
  • Lead operational improvement projects

What You Need to Succeed

  • Associate's degree in Integrated System Engineering (ISE) or related field will be considered 
  • or an equivalent combination of education and experience with a minimum of 2 years' experience. 
  • Lean Certification is preferred
