Senior Legal Assistant / Paralegal 70 – 80% (f/m/d)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

At our Greifensee headquarters, we have an immediate need for a Senior Legal Assistant / Paralegal 70 – 80% (f/m/d)

In this role, your responsibilities would include: 
  • You will support the European Legal Team in corporate governance and housekeeping matters relating to Swiss and worldwide group companies, including preparation and/or coordination of legal documents, handling of KYC requests, etc. 
  • You will communicate with units and authorities within and outside of Switzerland on notarial, commercial registry and similar topics and help in different projects like financing, tax, corporate restructuring etc.
  • You will play a key role in maintaining and developing the legal team's on-line presence, including on the Corporate Intranet, SharePoint, the legal WIKI and the legal entity management system.  You will support with the improvement of legal administrative processes by implementing workflows or digital solutions
  • You will perform legal research and review non-disclosure agreements and other standard legal documents based on available guidance
  • You will be responsible for handling general administrative tasks for the EU legal team such as travel planning, expense reporting, filing and archiving is also a part of your daily tasks
  • You will work closely with other administrative personnel of senior leaders and group functions at the headquarters, including for occasional holiday back-up and stock plan administration support 

What You Need to Succeed

Following requirements are necessary for this role: 
  • You have a solid business education (commercial degree or similar) and at least 5 years of relevant working experience in an international company. Training as paralegal or prior experience in a law firm or in-house legal department is considered a big plus
  • You have an affinity for digital solutions and you are proficient with standard Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint. Experience with SAP is a plus.
  • You have excellent organizational skills and are very detailed oriented, being strongly customer-focused and with a passion for high-quality work 
  • You work well in close collaboration with others, but are also comfortable working independently. You are flexible and reliable, friendly and courteous, and able to handle strict deadlines, also in peak periods 
  • Very good English skills are requested, ability to communicate in German is an important asset
