Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The global Marketing Team of the Laboratory Division (LAB) is in charge of planning, creating and executing worldwide marketing activities in cooperation with our business units and sales organizations. In order to strengthen our Laboratory Division marketing team, we are looking for a business oriented, pro-active and dynamic Segments and Content Manager 100% (f/m/d)

In this role, your responsibilities would include: 
  • You will work with teams across the LAB Division to provide industry expertise for marketing strategy, planning, campaigns as well as material creation
  • Further you will research and write value content on segment specific topics and work closely with internal and external research sources to ensure that accurate market and market segment profiles are maintained
  • You will conduct continuous market monitoring and impact analysis of needs, trends, compliance, and other key influencers; proactively recommends corrective action when appropriate
  • Additionally you will coordinate segment projects/tasks in collaboration with the Segment taskforce to better understand customer topics
  • Last but not least you will lead LAB marketing trainings to educate the LAB Division on segment topics using both our online training portal and online/face to face training

What You Need to Succeed

Following requirements are necessary for this role:  
  • You have a scientific background, preferably successful studies in a field of chemistry or other science and a couple of years of experience working in an international matrix organization is highly valued; global perspective and intercultural experience of advantage.
  • You have a proven track record of researching and writing combined with a strong interest and knowledge in marketing topics. Several years of experience in B2B marketing would be a clear asset
  • A solid understanding of laboratory processes, applications and instruments is a requirement
  • You are able to understand and express complex concepts in simple words and visuals; good writing skills and creative mindset with an eye for design
  • You are fluent in English, both written and spoken (min. C1). German and other languages desirable
