Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

These roles start as a temporary assignment but can lead to full time positions.  

Assembles electronic components, subassemblies, products, or systems by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Reads work instructions, follows Assembly Process Details and Packaging Process Details and sample assemblies, and receives or provides verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Uses fixtures, or other holding devices. Calibrates all equipment to prescribed specifications.
  • Crimps, screws, bolts, rivets, solders, cements, press fits, or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
  • Mounts assembled components, such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel.
  • Connects wires to printed circuit or routes and connects wires between individual components.
  • Installs finished assemblies or subassemblies in bases and enclosures.
  • Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches, to assemblies. Cleans and packs all products.
  • Performs online go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Uses hand and power tools, bench equipment such as, but not limited to, soldering irons or guns, presses, vices, drill presses, testers, tube cutters, benders, grinders, and fixtures.
  • Possesses basic electronic job knowledge identifying components and understands the operating process of equipment.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.  The employee frequently is required to stand and sit.  The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.  The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Observes all company policies and regulations including safety, housekeeping, quality of work, and confidentiality of information.  Supports all ISO accreditation programs.
