Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As our Document Control Coordinator, you will:
  • Process engineering changes in technical documents including CAD models, drawings, SOPs, and BOMs.
  • Use your specialized knowledge of CAD technology, manual technical drawing training and company products to produce and update product and part documents.
  • Work with documents such as blueprints, drawings, change orders, and specifications to verify completeness and accuracy of data.
  • Process change requests submitted by all departments. 
  • Circulate changes to computerized or manual control records, release documents, and notify affected departments.
  • Maintain quality information and traceability records.
  • Work alongside document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compile required changes to documents.
  • Maintain drawing files, assembly and packaging process detail files, engineering change notice files, instruction manuals and other related files.
  • Routinely use engineering tools including test and measurement equipment, calibration tools, reproduction equipment and computer programs including Microsoft Office, Solidworks CAD package and other routine office equipment.
  • Work within SolidWorks and MS Excel.

What You Need to Succeed

These are the key elements we are looking for:
  • SolidWorks experience, certification would be a plus.
  • Expertise in the MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel.
  • Associates degree or equivalent technical degree in CAD.
  • New grads are welcome to apply.

Our Offer to You

  • This is a six-month temporary assignment through a third party agency.
  • The role pays $18 hourly.

We are seeking to hire two Document Control Coordinators onto six-month temporary assignments. In these roles, you will support our engineering department with document control coordination and processing engineering changed in technical documents.
