Field Sales Representative, Boston

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are currently hiring a Field Sales Representative responsible for the selling of Rainin products and services to key accounts, the maintenance of the covered territory, and a variety of sales administration activities. This position reports directly to the District Manager, Northwest Territory, for MT Rainin. 

In this role, your responsibilities would include:
  • Seeking partnerships with pharmaceutical/biotech accounts assuring preferred or equal access for the Company.
  • Selling pipette and tip contracts, BPAs, bids and quotes to labs, departments, and stockrooms, in academic and private accounts. Initiating and participating with on-site vendor shows.
  • Traveling through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders.
  • Identifying new opportunities through cold-calling and penetrating new segments/accounts.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B. S.) from a four-year college or university, preferably in a life sciences discipline.
  • 2 or more years of direct sales experience
  • A commitment to company safety policies to keep yourself, your coworkers, and the workplace operating effectively and safely. Previous knowledge or work experience with pipettes.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an excellent driving history.
