Category Manager - Real Estate & Facilities, CAPEX and MRO

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

This position is for a global category manager for indirect sourcing supporting Real Estate & Facilities, CAPEX and MRO. Duties within this role include negotiating contracts, driving savings and spend under management, developing category strategies and working both globally and regionally in order to meet our stakeholder's needs. 

  • Develop and execute regional and global category strategies Develop and nurture strong stakeholder relationships with global leaders 
  • Lead and manage competitive bids, contract negotiations, and management approvals 
  • Negotiate consolidated spend through frame agreements with preferred suppliers, that set out prices, quality standards, cost-reduction improvement along agreement duration, delivery times, and commercial terms and conditions 
  • Responsible for gathering and analyzing indirect spend, achieving cost reductions and being the subject matter expert within the Global Indirect Procurement team.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor's Degree in business required with Major/Specialization/Concentration in Procurement/Sourcing/Supply Chain a plus, MBA a plus 
  • 7-10 years working experience in supply chain role with knowledge of indirect sourcing Experience in Real Estate & Facilities, CAPEX and MRO is a plus 
  • Strong negotiation and contracting skills with documented results 
  • Proven ability to deliver results in a decentralized organization on a defined schedule
