Inside Sales Support Specialist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As a Inside Sales Support Specialist you are responsible for working with Sales Representatives in the field on technical quotes, product specification, order management, change orders, and  inquiries. Familiarize established accounts with new products (services) and developments. Coordinate and assist Company's engineering staff in determining customers' needs. Prepare documents such as price quotations, terms of sales, delivery dates, and service obligations.

The Key Responsibilities of this position include;

  • Provide quotes, orders information, change orders and answer any inquiries on products and services
  • Support the field sales teams to provide timely responses to customer enquiries
  • Call customers and prospects to book visits for sales reps using a call list
  • Phone support to reps and customers for quotes and new equipment
  • Follow-up on orders and ship dates
  • Other duties and tasks as assigned.
  • Technical aptitude/capability
  • Detail orientated, Team orientated and a Sales background preferred

What You Need to Succeed

  • A daring spirit and a preference for work in a fast-paced sales environment 
  • A confirmed ability and technical acumen to learn our products and sell our service contracts 
  • The ability to communicate product knowledge, differentiate from the competition, and solve customer problems 
  • Excellent people skills to create rapport with prospects quickly Inbound or outbound call center experience or worked in a sales development role before is a plus 
  • Experience using SAP's CRM system is a plus
  • Ability to travel within Canada and the USA.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or Science related field preferred
  • Proficiency in the French language a plus
