Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Summary:
Under supervision, perform work involving retrieving of parts from the Fabrication work centers and the delivery of these parts to the next work center listed on the work order, creating kits per the Fabrication schedule for each customer order, delivery of completed kits to assembly staging area, and cycle counting of stock parts located in the Fabrication Department. Act as first point of contact for internal questions regarding past due or missing fabricated parts and the tracking of completed kits produced per shift against the targeted goal established by the Production Scheduler for specific product line.
Main Responsibilities:
- Label Bins with appropriate paper work
- Keep Parts without Bins, and storage racks put away and organized into bins and designated areas
- Keep plastic parts put away as bins become available
- Kit parts for future assembly jobs based on Fabrication build complete schedule
- Ensures each kit is complete before sending to Assembly staging area
- Ensure a minimum of 8 Completed Kits are kitted daily
- Track shortages using Syteline and take corrective action to fix
- Keep Bin Report Updated and Total Jobs Kitted Report Updated at the end of the shift
- Ensure the areas is clean, neat and organized at all times

What You Need to Succeed
Knowledge, Skills, Attitude:
- Able to follow written and verbal directions
- Must be Organized and able to multi-task
- Must be able to respond quickly to demand
- Ability to follow fabrication schedule and give feedback to supervisors and co-workers
- Knowledge of general fabrication and assembly work flow
- Ability to be crossed trained to perfrom other duties as specified by the Fabrication Manager
- Able to operate motorized fork lift equipment and manual pallet jacks.
Prerequisites (Education, Experience):
- High school diploma or equivalency with CPIM and/or CPM certification -or-
- High school diploma or equivalency with 2 years stock room experience
