Quality Control Lead

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are currently hiring a Quality Control Lead Inspector to inspect molded, manufactured and packaged materials and figure out those that are acceptable and ready to ship and those items that need to be rejected.  Schedule will include Saturday, Sunday and 3 days during the week.  Flexible to any shift.

Your responsibilities would include:
  • Inspecting all components within production and new product development using manual and electronic metrology equipment and recording results.
  • Performing all required reports and compiling data.
  • Auditing, recording findings, and helping to develop root cause and corrective action plans as needed.
  • Using inspection and measurement equipment and systems.
  • Lifting and moving 25 pounds regularly and up to 40 pounds a few times per shift; standing, squatting, climbing ladders, twisting, bending, and reaching
  • Using personal protective equipment every shift including a helmet, facemask, gloves, and possibly hearing protection.

What You Need to Succeed

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • 2-3 years of work experience in a manufacturing or packaged goods company.
  • Experience with CMM programing
  • Must have experience using manual and basic measurement tools (calipers, thin guage, micrometers).

As a Plus, Do You Also Have? 
  • Exposure to a work environment that uses good manufacturing practices (GMP) and ISO 9001. 
  • Quality control experience in an injection molding environment.
