Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
- Meeting and exceeding sales quotas assigned for business.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of all internal applications related to lab sales and marketing, including but not limited to the CRM and ERP.
- Executing outbound tele-sales campaigns, employing professional selling skills in their pursuit, and accurately managing and recording data generated from these efforts. Manage incoming calls from customers who have inquiries in regards to service information or quotes that were given
- Following-up on of sales leads for sales opportunities; cross selling opportunities, or opportunities that are assigned to outside sales for consultation on higher end solutions.
- Qualifying Sales leads by assessing needs, budget, and buying authority. Obtain basic qualifying information including (but not limited to) time frame for purchase, decision maker(s), budget, influencing factors, and next step in the sales process.
- Effective nurturing of leads; building relationships by conducting ongoing, informative dialog that helps qualified prospects who are not yet sales-ready. Move each lead to the next step in the sales cycle at the appropriate time and ultimately close the sale for product and/or service.
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Chemistry or a related sciences, required.
- Two to three years of any combination of customer service, sales, or marketing related experience, preferred
- Inbound or outbound call center experience and tele-selling skills are desirable.
- A competitive nature and the desire to excel in a fast paced sales environment
- The ability to connect with various personality types
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to work both independently, and in a team environment, are required.
