Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

In our Analytical Chemistry business unit, we design and produce innovative measuring instruments that have an excellent image and footprint in the market. In order to strengthen the Research and Development team in our newly built global headquarters in Nänikon/Greifensee, we are looking for a committed, goal-oriented and independent Test Manager and Tester 100% (f/m/d).

In this role, your responsibilities would include:

Your overall main responsibility will be to support the development by ensuring the correct functionality of the analytical instruments through hardware, software and applicative testing
As test manager, you will create test plans according to the test cases based on the product requirements, estimating the resources, required time and capacity needed for them
You will assign tasks, coordinate and support an international team of testers that will execute your test plan
You will be responsible for the quality of the documentation and the discussion of the results.
You will collaborate in the continuous definition and maintenance of test processes to ensure regulatory guidelines
Ultimately, you will perform application support for inquiries from marketing and customer support.
In this position, you will strongly contribute to the design, functionality, and success of the future analytical instrument portfolio of METTLER TOLEDO

What You Need to Succeed

Following requirements are necessary for this role:

You have a Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or natural science combined with a couple of years of experience as a tester (software testing, hardware testing or both)
You are detail oriented with a high sense of quality and you describe yourself as a very well self-organized person
A test manager certificate and experience with Azure DevOps are an advantage
Additional skills in software development are a plus (Python, Matlab, C++)
You are fluent in English and German
