Warehouse Operator I

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Receive all incoming materials. Offload cargo, inspect and compare with packing lists, bills, purchase orders and/or MRA’s and report discrepancies or damage.
  • Break down received pallets into smaller pack configurations and/or relabel as required. Put away product in predetermined storage locations.  
  • Consolidate product in storage bin locations to maximize utilization of warehouse storage space.  
  • Perform cycle count and other physical counts using the handheld scanner. 
  • Work with Mexico plant logistics team for import/export of materials, tooling, supplies, and equipment on the daily milk run.  
  • Accurately pull and pack products for customer orders.
  • Produce correct documents necessary for receiving, material traceability, domestic and international shipments.
  • Ensure shipping and receiving activities comply with established company policies, procedures and cGMP compliance, ISO regulations, Federal Express, UPS, and other carrier procedures.
  • Communicate promptly with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Materials, Logistics, and other departments relating to problems with order fulfillment.
  • Contribute to 5S, Safety, and other Lean activities with warehouse personnel.  Conduct daily housekeeping. 

What You Need to Succeed

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience with receiving, storing, and shipping goods.
  • Computer knowledge desired (MS Office Suite). Comfortable using a Computer.
  • Ability to execute simple mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MRP software relating to warehousing activities desired.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of hand trucks and pallet mover.
  • Forklift license required (or desired, depending on the role performed), or ability to learn operation through provided training. 
  • Knowledge of LEAN tools as they apply to warehouse operations.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement attitude, safety mindset, commitment to quality work, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
