- Provide manufacturing engineering support for existing product lines. Associate with product design teams and other colleague to set up engineering data for new product.
- Support assembly and test procedures, work flow diagrams, shop floor layout to meet production forecasts. Establish manufacturing time standards for manpower and capacity planning. Conduct studies to evaluate available capacity and equipment against the present and future manufacturing needs.
- Develop and procure necessary tooling, jigs and fixtures, detailed SOP, manual assembly process to support the manufacturing process and design specifications.
- Resolve manufacturing problems, clarify, improve, and streamline processes to create a more efficient and effective manufacturing environment. Identify problem, its root cause, short-term fix, long-term corrective action and implementation plan.
- Maintain and adhere to established procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance to ISO 9000 and other company standards.
- Assisting to manufacturing supervisor to roll out Lean manufacturing to each production line.
- Coach operators with standard work instruction, equipment maintenance
- Review incoming parts to ensure compliance to specification.
- Using SAP(ERP) to maintain the routing data and BOM during the PLM.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology.
- Working years
- Minimum 3 years of experience. Knowledge and experience of a regulated industry such as instrument or manufacturing industry.
- Professional skill
- Should be a strong team player with flexibility to adapt to organizational needs and priorities.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using OFFICE software and CAD
- Language skill English to effectively communicate in verbal and written forms.
