Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
Working alongside a Field Service Technician, helping them to perform their daily duties.
• Following daily service visits schedule through careful coordination with their Area Service Leader.
• While on site at customer facilities, assisting the Field Service Tech to provide pipette repair and calibration services.
• Representing Rainin to customer in a professional and positive manner.
• Ability to work as part of a small team.
• Completes service reports and expense reports and is responsible for maintaining service equipment and parts inventory.
• When available, assists in Service Center production activities as assigned by the Area Service Leader
• Travel out of local area of up to 50% of the time required to support the business, including overnight travel up to 25% of the time.
• Driving License: Including good driving record
• Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Previous knowledge or work experience with pipettes preferred.
• Language Skills:
Must have strong interpersonal and verbal (English) communication skills.
Must have good written communication skills
• Mechanical Skills:
Must have good mechanical aptitude
The ability to disassemble and reassemble small precision mechanical instruments.
• Miscellaneous Skills:
Strong organizational skills to successfully develop and schedule, process, and complete multiple tasks.
• Computer Skills:
Must have good computer skills, including use of email and common Microsoft Office programs.
