IT Compliance Specialist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced IT Compliance Specialist to lead the planning and execution of IT Controls activities across DBS, including SOX and ISO27001 controls. This role requires a proactive individual who can appropriately challenge internal customers to ensure high-quality reports and control evidence are delivered timely.

 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage planning and execution of IT Controls activities across DBS, including SOX and ISO27001 compliance.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on SOX and ISO27001 matters and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as Internal Audit, Global Security, and other departments.
  • Evaluate results from IT controls testing and assess identified control deficiencies.
  • Coordinate internal control walkthroughs and testing within IT.
  • Identify and evaluate changes to processes and controls; collaborate with Process Owners to update documentation and test plans.
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements in the IT Compliance Program to management.
  • Review standards, processes, and procedures related to new and existing policies.
  • Maintain metrics and key performance indicators to monitor the overall health and effectiveness of the IT Compliance program.

What You Need to Succeed

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in IT compliance (SOX/ISO27001 knowledge/certification is a plus).
  • Excellent English skills.
  • Experience with internal/external audits.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to plan and organize with high attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills: Office 2016 or higher, SharePoint 2016, Visio 2016.
  • Knowledge of SERVICE NOW Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC).
  • Experience with Automation tools (Power Automate, UI Path).
