Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Summary

This position is responsible for driving business for selected technical product lines, achieving profitable and sustainable growth through proactive opportunity development and coordination of technical sales support activities for the Rainin Sales organization. As the solutions product champion and technical expert in the instrumentation and science of the products across the Rainin portfolio, this position supports Sales Managers and Sales Representatives with strategic initiatives, application support, standardization projects and customer demonstrations and trainings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key player in aggressively growing and achieving sales targets.

Continuously support sales reps on high-value, complex opportunities from qualification to close.

Analyze customer applications and provide compelling demonstrations of Rainin solutions to optimize workflows.

Collaborate with the sales teams to execute strategic campaigns, build and oversee a robust pipeline, accelerate the sales cycle, and improve win rates.

Drive results through persistent follow up and strategic engagement with sales representatives, new prospects, and existing customers.

Support development of technical papers and application notes through deep understanding of customer requirements and implementation of Rainin offerings.

Increase the overall technical and application expertise of the sales team throughout the selling process with ongoing trainings.

Maintain expert knowledge of competitors and clearly communicate differentiation of Rainin solutions.

What You Need to Succeed

A bachelor's degree in biology or a related science from a four-year college or university. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of four (4) years prior experience in direct sales involving laboratory automation and instruments, along with familiarity with typical biological laboratory applications and workflows.

Must be proficient in CRM and all MS Office software.

Solid organizational skills and professional image.

Must demonstrate flexible and adaptive decision-making

Is an excellent communicator; good presentation and public speaking skills; persuasive

Is a skilled negotiator when applicable

Skilled at building and maintaining long-term relationships, coalitions, and networks
