Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution (40%)
    • Business results driven. Define and execute long-term software business strategies aligned with IND growth goals (e.g., digital/automation transformation).  
    • Software as a key growth driver and differentiator, driving software portfolio strategy and market expansion, define the portfolio of IND software products. 
    • Business pipeline management and tracking together with MO partners. Conduct strategic planning and gain insights into industry trends, competition, and user needs to achieve business goals.
    • Lead the team and collaborate cross-functionally (R&D, Marketing, Sales, Service) to ensure strategy implementation.  
  • Team Development & Product Iteration (40%)
    • Establish end-to-end, business‑agile teams centered on customer value, scalable and replicable profitable business models, and continuous product iteration, while developing the team to enable business success.
    • Eager to learn new technologies as AI, skilled at motivating the team, and skilled at assigning people to roles that suit their strengths. Responsible for end-to-end management from presales to project delivery, comprehensively identifying and controlling risks at each stage, and continuously driving improvements.
    • Develop the product management capabilities of PM in the team, who can own end-to-end product management from ideation to launch (such as MME, MLE), and develop a 3-year software product roadmap, updated yearly to ensure alignment with IND strategy (e.g., integration of AI modules)
    • Define the product roadmap according to IND software strategy and optimize product performance through data-driven decisions and user feedback. Continuously focus on increasing customer value and reducing internal costs. 
    • Manage product maintenance (MOL), including upgrading features, technical documentation and issue resolution.  Collaborate for joint development with MT IND's terminal portfolio.
  • Business Collaboration & Project Management (20%)
    • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure project success and verify the strategy. GTC is essential.
    • Work with teams and MO on localized promotion campaigns and customer engagement.  
    • Support core customer projects. Continuously identify new product opportunities and customer value.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Automation, Software, Electrical Engineering or similar subjects.
  • Working years
    • Minimum 3 years of experience in team leadership, product management or project management. 
    • Minimum 2 years Digitalization experience is a plus.
  • Professional skills
    • Strong ownership and passion for the work and the business target, as well as teamwork spirit, strong Cross-Functional Collaboration and influence.
    • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilizing data analysis and algorithm optimization to guide product design and iteration. Strong logical thinking, study and innovation capability, excellent analytics and execution.
    • User-Centered Mindset: Constant focus on user needs and experience, actively collecting and responding to user feedback.
    • Self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with market organizations and customers, agile Iteration and rapid response.
    • Can adapt to business travels.
    • Proficient in English.
    • Experience in product management or industry software preferred.
    • Alignment with METTLER TOLEDO’s customer-centric innovation culture; prior experience in cross-cultural team collaboration is preferred.
