Field Service Technician – Instrumentation

Job Summary: 

Seeking a self-motivated and self-managed individual with 3–5 years of calibration experience in electrical, dimensional, and time-based instruments. The role involves calibrating temperature, pressure, pH, hardness, ovens, flow, water systems, and centrifuges, along with performing troubleshooting, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform NIST traceable calibration services on general process equipment.
  • Calibrate and maintain a wide variety of instrumentation in regulated environments (FDA, EMA) and under ISO quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and management.
  • Occasionally lead multi-person teams for calibration and maintenance jobs.
  • Follow company SOPs, customer procedures, and industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and close out jobs with customers.
  • Use calibration management software; training will be provided.

What You Need to Succeed

Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of experience calibrating instruments such as temperature, pressure, pH, hardness, ovens, flow meters, water systems, and centrifuges.
  • Experience with Environment Monitoring Systems (EMS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of protocols such as 4-20mA, 0-10VDC, HART, and PLC communication.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and email.
  • Excellent documentation skills.
  • Ability to follow customer guidelines and safety policies including PPE and gowning requirements.
  • Clean driving record
  • This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing permitted by law.
