- Ownership and management of the LabX product portfolio, ensuring clear differentiation and strong market positioning.
- Definition and drive of the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with market opportunities and business goals; thereby, focusing on the why, what, and when of long-term planning and market alignment.
- Leadership of product discovery, backlog prioritization, and oversight of value streams to maximize delivered customer value. Work in a value stream like the epic owners / product managers that are being led.
- Tough decisions and negotiations balancing investment between enhancing existing products and developing new features/products.
- Market research, customer feedback, and analytics to guide iterative product improvements and decision-making.
- Launch of product increments to market together with the LabX Product Manager and LabX Marketing Manager.
- Partnership with business leadership to secure resources and align product metrics with high-level business goals.
- Leadership in an international, cross-functional environment, ensuring customer and stakeholder input shapes product decisions.
- Master’s degree in engineering or natural sciences (preferably in Chemistry or Biotechnology), or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software product management in a larger organization, ideally within the laboratory software industry or similar B2B software environments.
- A combination of structured thinker and visionary leader, full of passion for the product and its success in the market. Leading a team without formal authority from the spark of an idea through implementation with decisive decision making and clear setting of priorities to bring the maximum value to customers in the shortest possible time.
- Proven track record of leading product strategy, vision, and roadmap development in a complex, matrix organization based on analysis of market trends and user research.
- Excellent interpersonal, cross-cultural communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
- Strong technical background to translate complex software concepts into user-friendly products.
- Experience in working with larger customer segments such as Pharma, Chemical, Life Science, Food, or Testing Labs is a plus.
- Fluent in English (oral and written); German language skills are a plus.
