Field Service Technician - Analytical

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Mettler Toledo is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Field Service Technician to join our growing Service Division. This is an exciting opportunity to work with industry-leading instrumentation and measurement technology, supporting customers across a range of sectors.

  • Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Install, commission, and qualify new equipment, ensuring all systems meet technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment faults, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
  • Complete service documentation accurately and thoroughly in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements.
  • Deliver high-quality service activities efficiently, consistently meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Submit all field service reports, documentation, and expense claims promptly and accurately.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Previous experience in field service, instrumentation, calibration, or related engineering disciplines.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organisational and documentation abilities.
  • A customer-focused approach with strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP-regulated environments would be advantageous.
  • A full UK driving licence
