Electrical Engineer (Hardware)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As part of the Troemner Engineering Department, you will be responsible for design development, implementation, and maintenance of electromechanical products. Here's what you'll be working on:

  • Design projects and products which include modeled drawings, bill of materials, procedures, manufacturability and cost impact reviews.
  • Maintain electrical design templates and repositories.
  • Ensure successful hand-over to production.
  • Confers with product management, manufacturing and technical personnel to clarify or resolve problems and prepares design modifications as required to help improve safety, reliability, cost and throughput.
  • Support production in person to troubleshoot, analyze and resolve design issues as well as answer complex questions.
  • Review engineering drawings, analyze design and retrieve information to complete drawings layouts or designs.
  • Other duties may be assigned. 

What You Need to Succeed

Bachelor or Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology Degree, plus a minimum of three to five years related experience preferred. 

 Makes routine use of engineering tools including test equipment, electronic device programming, calibration tools and computer programs including Microsoft Office, SolidWorks and Electrical CAD package, and other routine office equipment. Familiar with Nema and electrical compliance standards.

This position is for a New Jersey unit of Mettler-Toledo named Troemner. We are located about 15 miles from Philadelphia in Thorofare, NJ. Mettler-Toledo acquired Troemner in 2016.
