- Responsibilities:
- Recruit VAR (Value added reseller) in defined territory for IND solutions
- Manage channel sales directly and indirectly working with Dealers
- Build techno/commercial competencies in the channels.
- Develop and implement stock and sale strategy .
- Support VAR for lead generation activities
- Partner with all stakeholders in a matrix organization for the business success.
- Achieve monthly/Quarterly/Yearly business targets.
- To ensure the collections on Receivable Management.
- Drive VAR policy and ensure all VAR’s follow this policy
- To successfully lead the Channel business and achieve profitable growth as per MTIN growth plan
- Key tasks:
- Ensure timely disbursement of VAR commissions and Incentives
- Handle all correspondence required to be made to VARs
- Coordination with MTIN and VARs
- Ensure VARs achieve their targets through timely order processing and deliveries.
- Develop promo.schemes for VARs.
- Provide support for sales promotion activities conducted by the VARs , road shows, seminars exhibition by providing brochures, display items etc.
- To ensure that the VARs/ DSAs respect and be confident about the company and the products.
- To motivate the VARs with regular correspondence and communication through emails and telephonic calls. Guiding VARs/DSA on all Company rules and regulations and policies of the company and ensuring that they are abided.
- First level Training of all VAR's field staff.
- The support provided should be such that a respectable and trustworthy image is created about the Company, in the minds to Dealers / DSAs.
- Ensuring VAR posses all required legal and statutory documents like Shops & establishment license, Weights and Measures License, repairers license, required to conduct business activities in weighing industry.
- Ensuring order booking as per company terms and conditions with proper order processing documents.
- Key Behavioral Attributes:
- • Should be good at relationship management and have excellent selling skills.
- • Must possess good communication skills in English and Local language.
- • Be good at interpersonal skills and proactive.
- Local Market Knowledge
- Basic computer knowledge, desirable
- Expected Key Deliverables:
- Products Handling - Products to be sold
- Weighing Solutions (Platform Scale, Floor Scale, Tank System, etc.) used for weighing in Food & Beverages, Pharma, Biotechnologies. As well as weighbridges, coil scales etc.
- Allocated Target -Weigh scales, Weigh bridge, System products - Tank weighing, Conveyor weighing, Forklift scales, Postal scales, Vehicle scale, load cells, Heavy duty scales, Platform Scales, Floor Scales, drum filling system etc
- Industrial Segment Cater to : Food, Beverages, Chemical, Pharma, Textile, Metal, Cement, Steel, Manufacturing
- Qualifications and Technical Skills: BSc / Dip / BE (Electronics or Instrumentation) or equivalent.
- Added Advantage: Two-Year Full Time Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in Marketing Management or equivalent
- Overall and Specific Experience:
- At least 2 to 4 years' experience in sales & marketing, Preferably channels in the target markets for the given technologies. SAP Exposure desirable
