As Sales Support Specialist you will be part of MEC Inside Sales Team, responsible for supporting all sales activities of
METTLER TOLEDO systems & solutions for customers, providing crucial support to Field Sales Representatives and end-users within the market in Hungary and other countries from our region.
A strong technical background is essential to succeed in this role, as it requires the ability to deeply understand and learn about our technical products and services, provide effective technical support, and configure tailored solutions to customer needs.
- Provide high quality service for incoming calls, emails and requests from customers and prospects related to leads, quotes or orders;
- Qualify and manage leads, ensuring they are accurately entered into the CRM system;
- Create, follow up, revise and close selected quotes;
- Support sales activities for an assigned group of Field Sales Representatives by providing product inquiries, offer generation, order review, order status updates and problem resolution;
- Plan visits for Field Sales Representatives;
- Provide technical support for ongoing projects based on available documentation;
- Select and configure appropriate solutions tailored to customer requirements;
- Prepare tender documentation;
- Manage all business-related activities using SAP CRM system;
- Participate in the organizing trade fairs, seminars, industry conferences;
- Collaborate with the Shared Business Center to resolve issues and support proper information workflow;
- Supporting OMS/SCM team locally.
Key Competencies required:
- Very good communication skills (verbal and written);
- Customer focus and commercial skills;
- Results-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and influencing ability;
- Understanding of the sales process with basic project management skills;
- Good command of English, both oral and written;
Background/experience:
- A technical (or related fields) background with ability and acumen to learn about our products and/or services;
- High School Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's Degree preferably in Engineering, Science or equivalent related education ;
- Min. 2 years of any combination of customer service, sales, call center or related experience.
