Site Lead (Heijen)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

In this position, you will be working on site at our outsourced warehouse in Heijen, the Netherlands. You will be the local site lead and MT representative, lead and develope the onsite MT teams and be overall accountable for seamless daily operations, ensuring MT's high quality standards are ensured in all daily operations. You will be the MT senior management counterpart for the 3PL, ensuring end-to-end alignment, collaboration and communication is established and maintained.  You will own and drive the Lean road map, establishing daily routines (e.g. daily gemba with 3PL management) in close collaboration with the involved teams, manifesting a continuous improvement culture and mindset. Your overall long-term contribution will lie towards ensuring a clear path forward toward state of the art operations and quality. You will be part of the EU-HUB management team and report directly to the General Manager.

Your main tasks will be: 
Local lead for all MT EU-HUB related tasks
Team lead for onsite MT teams (Quality and ME)
Local MT representative and person of contact
Senior management counterpart for the local 3PL
Senior management counterpart for local forwarders
Establishment of Lean road map including daily routines. Organize and participate in daily Gemba walks and shop-floor meeting with 3PL and MT (tier 1 to tier 3)
Own and drive continous improvement with 3PL and internally 
Responsible for local quality management as well as ensuring audit compliance

What You Need to Succeed

You have a bachelor degree in industrial engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering or another related subject.
Minimum 8 years work experience, thereof 5 years as a team lead
Ability to translate customer and technical demands into ro
Experience in warehouse and logistic processes is a plus.bust business and quality processes.
Very strong Lean and Problem-Solving skills 
Knowledge of standard tools like MS-Office, 8D/CAPA.
Strong knowledge of SAP.
English language skills speaking and writing (must). German and Dutch language skills are a plus.
