- Reading work instructions, following Assembly Process Details and Packaging Process Details and sample assemblies, or receiving verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
- Positioning and aligning parts in specified relationships to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
- Crimping, screwing, bolding, riveting, cementing, press fitting, or performing similar operations to join or secure parts in place.
- Assembling and attaching hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to assemblies. Cleaning and packing all products. Use of an auto bagger and label program required.
- Setting up and maintaining machines that press, shape, or wind component parts.
- Performing online go-no-go testing and inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
- Using hand and power tools, bench equipment such as presses, vices, drill presses, tube cutters, benders, grinders, and fixtures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Knowledge of and ability to support ISO 9000 standards and laboratory accreditation programs.
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving moving mechanical parts.
- Ability to life up to 25 pounds.
