Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain System Architecture Landscape for PLM applications.
  • Installation and maintenance of the required PLM applications.
  • Ensure usage of certified software packages for the PLM applications.
  • Define deployment procedures (server and client side).
  • Coordination of deployments of software customization/configuration.
  • Document the hardware requirements for the application infrastructure and collaborate with peers from other IT teams (network, infrastruture teams).
  • Maintain and execute continuous improvement of the underlying SQL DB application.
  • Perform daily system monitoring, ensuring availability of all the applications.
  • Provide 3rd level support for the System Architecture related issues.
  • Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades and resource optimizations as required.
  • Provide reccomandations for eventual infrastructure extension requirements in contex of new projects delivery

What You Need to Succeed

  • At least 2 years of experience with system administration of engineering applications.
  • Good knowledge of the the following applications.
  •       Microsoft SQL Server Administration.
  •       Siemens Teamcenter Application Infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, GIT, Nagios).
  • Knowledge of Web Tier applications (e.g. IIS, Apache, JBoss).
  • Experience with change management processes (CMII , ITIL or similar ).
  • Independent, accurate way of working and understanding of complex processes and interdependencies, high problem solving ability.
  • Ability to communicate across different functional team.
  • Excellent team player capabilities and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Responsibilities require working evenings and weekends once a month.
  • Travel requirements up to 10%.
