In our Software Development Center, we develop a next-generation Cloud-ready solution that controls high-precision laboratory measurement instrumentation and collects and processes measurement data. The software is distributed worldwide and supports multiple languages. To support our team at our global operating headquarter in Zurich, Greifensee we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a motivated student (100%) all genders – Duration of 6 months
Are you ready to dive into an innovative project that bridges the gap between technology and customer experience? We are seeking an enthusiastic student to join our team in an exciting role focused on the Voice of the Customer (VOC) methodology. This is your chance to make a real impact by helping our Research & Development (R&D) team better understand customer needs and expectations!
You will be an integral part of our Requirements Engineering team, receiving guidance and support from the team/project leader throughout your journey. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced requirement engineers, allowing you to gain insights into the elaboration of concepts and requirements, learning how to transform our customer feedback into good solutions.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
- Design a Customer Interview Framework: You will craft a discussion guide that facilitates insightful interviews with our customers.
- Gain Deep Product Knowledge: You will develop expertise in a specific feature of our software to enhance your interviews and data collection.
- Conduct Engaging Customer Interviews: You will participate in customer interviews to gather essential feedback.
- Analyze Data & Extract Insights: You will dive into the interview data, analyze it, and uncover key customer needs to improve our development process.
- Contribute to Future Strategies: If time allows, you will work on the next steps and help enhance the process.
Following requirements are necessary for this role:
- You are pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related technical/scientific field, and you possess a strong interest in business. Alternatively, you may have a background in marketing with a deep interest in technology.
- You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse stakeholders.
- You have a proactive and open mindset that fosters collaboration and teamwork.
- You demonstrate a detail-oriented approach paired with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- You have the ability to work effectively as a team player, managing your time efficiently while exhibiting a strong eagerness to learn and grow.
- We require professional communication skills in English, German is an advantage
