Join our exciting 3-year apprenticeship program combining hands-on experience at SLXR, a leader in manufacturing X-Ray inspection systems, and MTUK, our UK Sales and Service Market Organisation. Participate in Cambridge Regional College training as part of your qualification. Embrace teamwork, continuous improvement, and real-world field experience. This opportunity offers a structured path into a dynamic field-based service engineer role within the Product Inspection division.
What You'll Do:
Years 1-2: Work primarily with the SLXR team to gain practical skills in manufacturing and servicing X-Ray systems.
Year 3: Transition to MTUK to develop core service delivery skills across all Mettler Toledo Product Inspection equipment.
- 5 GCSEs at grade 5 or above, including English and Maths.
- Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel).
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and enthusiastic with a strong willingness to learn.
- Comfortable working across different sites and teams.
- Interest in technical systems and engineering operations.
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for work-related travel.
- Safety First: Operate with the highest health and safety standards, adhere to safe working practices, and contribute to a safe working culture.
