Service Technician

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Are you curious about precision technology, advanced analytical instruments, and laboratory production equipment?

As our new service technician, you will become part of our service department with 16 colleagues, delivering world-class service to our many customers. More specifically, you will work with analytical equipment and act as a "trusted advisor" for our customers when servicing their equipment.
In your everyday work as a service technician, you will be responsible for servicing equipment for a wide range of exciting customers, such as testing laboratories in areas like food, biotech, and pharma. Here, you will handle service, repair, installation, troubleshooting, testing, and calibration of their equipment.
You will have your own service vehicle and travel from home to customers, with your work area covering Scandinavia, although most days will be in Denmark, so overnight stays will be expected several times a month.

The workday is between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM, but some tasks may take longer as they need to be completed before you can leave. You will be well introduced to the tasks through courses, e-learnings, and joint visits with a colleague. Additionally, you will regularly attend courses to stay updated on new products and knowledge. A strong and geeky support team - in a good way. Although the job is very independent, your support team is never more than a phone call or a Teams meeting away. We offer excellent opportunities for product training and personal development - both in Denmark, but also in Switzerland or the USA.

What You Need to Succeed

  • You have experience as a technician or laboratory assistant, preferably field-based, within precision engineering and fine-tuning – e.g., from the medical, pharmaceutical, or food industry.
  • Knowledge of FTIR spectroscopy, FBRM technology, PVM technology, thermal analysis will be an advantage.
  • You have a background as an automation technician, radio mechanic, measurement technician, marine engineer, or something else within electronics, engineering, automation, or similar.
  • You have an understanding of mechanics and electronics.
  • You have good English skills, as our technical manuals are in English.

Ideally, you live in the Greater Copenhagen area – or nearby, as it provides the easiest access to our customers in your daily work.
