Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

We have an exciting opening for a dynamic Inside Sales Engineer to join our team, serving as a key support resource for our international sales channels and end users in metal detection solutions.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with Market Managers and the Head of Sales to effectively maintain relationships with our global customers, ensuring exceptional service and successful sales outcomes across diverse markets.

What You'll Do

Be the main point of contact between our international Market Organisations (MOs) and the stakeholders at our manufacturing plant in Salford.
Review all customer specifications for non-standard products and work with other departments to assess their feasibility of manufacture.
Prepare quotations and specifications for MOs and end users.
Assess queries (technical and commercial) received and liaise with appropriate departments to resolve.
Carry out product testing to establish product sensitivity and liaise with end users/MOs with the results.
Respond to queries from design engineers regarding customer requirements e.g. complex conveyor systems, measurements stated etc.
Work with relevant departments to overcome any difficulties with making and delivering the product on time and ensure communication to customers is timely.

What You Need to Succeed

Experience of working in a commercial/engineering/ manufacturing environment supporting a technical product to support sales activities is highly desirable
Proven experience of problem solving in terms of technical and nontechnical matters
Capable of project management, reporting, and upholding strong communication with a focus on meeting deadlines
Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously and self-designate priorities
Efficient in Microsoft 365 Office Suite
