Junior GL Accountant (all genders)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Are you passionate about finance and eager to develop your career in General Ledger? 
Join our finance team as a Junior GL Accountant and gain hands-on experience while contributing to our company's financial accuracy and success. 

Your responsibilities: 
  • Performing daily accounting duties referring to GL and FA related transactions of various reporting units.
  • Managing accounting master data (company code level).
  • Executing financial data collection and analysis to ensure ledger accuracy and integrity with other systems and data interfaces, in compliance with the Controller’s manual and with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Researching, tracking and resolving accounting problems reported by business units.
  • Posting all relevant accounting transactions and reviewing of month end close including balance sheet account analysis, review, reconciliation & resolution.
  • Preparing and delivering monthly, quarterly and annual Group reports.
  • Coordinating the resolution of any intercompany reconciliation issues with impacted business units.
  • Interacting with internal and external auditors and supports quarter end, interim and year-end audits.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting area, 
  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written for everyday work), 
  • Proven experience in work with ERP system (SAP - nice to have), 
  • High level of numerical and analytical skills and attention to details,
  • Strong organisational skills to meet tight deadlines,
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders.

The recruitment process consists of the following steps:
  • CV selection - we contact selected candidates
  • Phone screening with a recruiter (approx. 15 min)
  • Initial interview with the Manager (video conference, approx. 1 hour)
