This role serves as a key interface between global strategic planning and regional execution. You will be tasked with bridging the gap between high-level supply strategies and day-to-day operations, ensuring superior customer service levels, optimized inventory health, and seamless cross-border logistics—with a primary focus on supporting regional distribution networks.
- Planning Execution: Execute daily and weekly planning cycles within advanced planning systems to ensure data integrity and timely generation of supply requirements.
- Supply-Demand Balancing: Analyze demand trends, inventory positions, and supply constraints to synchronize supply plans with demand forecasts.
- Parameter Management: Proactively maintain and optimize planning parameters (e.g., Lead Time, MOQ, Safety Stock) to reflect real-world supply chain dynamics.
- Operational Support: Support regional hub operations by tracking purchase orders and delivery schedules; proactively expedite critical materials to ensure continuity of supply.
- Inventory Health: Monitor inventory performance, specifically targeting the reduction of Excess & Obsolete and slow-moving stock while mitigating shortage risks.
- Performance Optimization: Drive continuous improvement in On-Time Delivery (OTD) and inventory optimization through data-driven planning adjustments.
- Issue Resolution: Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for supply disruptions and implement corrective actions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Participate in S&OP processes and align supply capabilities with customer needs and market volatility.
- KPI Reporting: Maintain and report on critical metrics including OTD, OFT, Inventory, Days of Supply (DOS), and Plan Attainment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, statistics or a related field with strong quantitative focus.
- 1–3 years of experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning, or Material Control.
- Fresh graduates with strong internship experience in a multinational (MNC) supply chain environment are also welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with basic ERP logic (e.g., SAP, DDMRP) or any planning software.
- Data Savvy: Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting analysis, are a must; ability to handle large datasets efficiently).
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data trends and identify potential supply risks.
- Exposure to data tools like Power Query, Power BI is a plus, but not mandatory (willingness to learn is key).
- Communication: Strong communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
- Language: Professional working proficiency in English
- Detail-Oriented: High level of accuracy in data entry and system maintenance. Able to work in a fast-paced and cross-functional environment.
- Growth Mindset: Proactive and eager to learn new systems and processes; a "can-do" attitude toward solving operational hiccups.
- Resilience: Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage tasks with clear priorities.
- Knowledge in inventory management and planning concepts.
- Exposure to S&OP and demand planning processes.
- Experience in demand planning or material requirement planning (MRP).
- Understanding of logistics and supplier management processes.
- Experience in FMCG, or multinational company environment is an added advantage.
- 13.5 months' salary per annum
