Software Licensing Specialist

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will act as the organization's expert for the different types of licensing models for software and IT platforms, including enterprise and volume licenses, perpetual licenses, floating licenses, trial licenses, subscriptions, feature licenses and others.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Ensure license compliance within the company
  • Establish and set up a license monitoring procedure
  • Ensuring that the internal IT license audit is performed on a regular basis
  • Creation and provision of IT asset reports and statistics
  • Consulting within the company on how to optimize the license situation and save costs
  • Manage and support of various license and partner portals
  • Contribute to the further development and continuous improvement of IT Asset Management (software and hardware) within the global Digital Business Solutions department in collaboration with various global departments and decentralized business units

What You Need to Succeed

Competencies and Requirements:
  • Good knowledge of the different licensing models and terms of the Tier 1 vendors such as Microsoft, VMware, Adobe and others
  • Extensive experience with the SAM tool Flexera is a must, experience with the tool ServiceNow is a plus
  • Experience in managing and supporting internal and external audits, including preparation of ELPs, true-ups and other general data analysis and reports
  • Experience in optimizing software licenses, identifying savings, minimizing risks, and complying with regulations
  • Extensive experience working with cloud licenses, technologies and services
  • Team player who works independently, in a structured, reliable and effective manner and has methodical and conceptual strengths
  • Excellent written and spoken English, good communication and presentation skills
  • Desirable: A Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Technology or any of the fields related to the duties of the position from an accredited university would be an asset
  • Software Asset Manager certification is desirable • Knowledge of process automation is a plus
  • Ability to adapt to different surroundings and situations in a multicultural environment
  • Open to occasional international travel
