Clean Room Manufacturing Technician

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

As our Clean Room Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing optomechanical and electronic components and systems, analyzing electronic schematics, and diagrams, and maintaining and updating documentation. You will be working in a lean manufacturing environment, which requires a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Additional responsibilities will include: 
  • Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulations in the handling of equipment and systems. 
  • Assembling and testing components and systems, including soldering and wiring. 
  • Programming and configuring electronic systems, such as programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs). 
  • Testing and validating systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. 
  • Entry level troubleshooting, including assisting with troubleshooting optomechanical and electronic systems by identifying and describing the problem and learning how to replace faulty components or working with leadership to address long-term issues. 
  • Reviewing schematics and diagrams to identify issues. 
  • Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the operation and maintenance of equipment and systems. 
  • Adhering to documentation, including manuals and technical specifications. 
  • Supporting in process and final inspection for multiple products.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Technical/vocational school or avionics/EET training or equivalent experience. 
  • 3-5 years of manufacturing experience. 
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for electronic systems. 
  • Knowledge of electronics capabilities to ensure the proper functioning and maintenance of complex electronic systems in a production environment. 
  • Ability to work Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm, with additional overtime and Saturdays as needed. 
This position is considered safety sensitive and is subject to drug testing as permitted by law.
