- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise a team of engineers and technicians.
- To liaise with all departments on service-related matters.
- Implement new service procedures/workflow or revise existing one for his team.
- To liaise with factory for quick technical support.
- Set up standard and special purpose measurement equipment in customers' facilities.
- Support department growth initiatives and company goals.
- Provide guidance and support to service team members/sales for on-site activities.
- Familiar with international standard for calibration, GMP and SAC SINGLAS calibration scheme.
- Be the SAC approved signatory for calibration report for IND scales.
- Support and advise project/application team for new installation project in customers' facilities.
- Attend to important/critical breakdown with sales/technician and provide root cause analysis/evaluation report whenever is necessary. Propose/advise the action plan for efficient and effective resolution.
- REQUIREMENT
- A good engineering degree in Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A team player, meticulous and organized with at least 3 years of supervisory experience on field service team.
- Fair knowledge in weighing modules, tank scale, platform scale and weighbridge would be an advantage.
- Possesses a valid class 3 driving license would be preferred.
- Possesses BizSAFE level 2 certification and are familiar with the safety requirement in a production environment.
- Experienced in conducting toolbox meeting and preparing risk assessment document and method statement.
- Excellent communication skills
