Performs packaging operations across the range of our pipette products. This includes harvesting and cleaning duties related to our products. Consolidates and records the reason for all rejected products and properly recycling them. Gathers and consolidates all rejected tips by shift’s ends and rack components. Segregates piece count and records the reason of rejected tips and packaging materials daily. Operates equipment in performing all packaging operations. The operation and use of fully automatic equipment is part of the job functions. Learns to check the T-Card and checks the label matching to product. Reports issues, concerns, and/or pertinent information to production lead and/or shift supervisor. Must wear PPE during shift. Take immediate action to ensure the work in progress is within specification. Shares all significant information to the oncoming shift personnel, reports any problem areas to the shift supervisor. Returns all tools and fixtures to the proper location after use. Follows Company safety policies as outlined in the employee handbook. Works cooperatively with co-workers, leads, and supervisors within the department and other departments. Maintains work area clean and organized. Learns and applies the 5S principle to all packaging steps and levels. Performs other duties as assigned.

Meal Periods Policy Compliance Maintain the requirement to take rest and meal breaks within company policy. The expectation is 100% compliance. This includes maintaining your own timecard of incoming, outgoing to lunch, back from lunch and end of day punches.
