- Drive sustainable and profitable product sales growth.
- Support sales channels to implement high level growth strategies with locally aligned initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of our markets and the competitive landscape. This knowledge should be translated into meaningful regional plans to grow in both new accounts and via competitor displacement.
- As a product expert you will develop and deliver training material to enable sales teams to maximise effectiveness in the field.
- Regular travel as required to support sales channels with customer visits, training, and strategic discussion.
- Build strong relationships with channels through regular communication and close collaboration.
- Ensure sales teams are aware of latest Key Account activities to ensure maximum leverage.
- Ensure fast and efficient sales support.
- Work closely with colleagues in the wider organisation to secure an end-end focus on customer needs and satisfaction.
- Duties are carried out in accordance with all company policies, procedures and processes.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by the Head of Market Management.
- Strong level of experience in a customer-facing technical sales role through direct sales and/or global distribution channels.
- Experience of working in a dynamic, technology-driven business that provides solutions to the Packaging/Processing/FMCG/Pharma type industries
- International sales experience, working closely with others as part of a collaborative team.
- Technical experience in a fast-paced design environment producing low to mid volume B2B industrial products.
- Experience working in a matrix organisation that delivers to either food or pharma businesses.
- Customer sales order support and delivery (principles and challenges) in application to machinery based in the field (at the customer's site).
- Strong all-round project management, organisational, problem solving, reporting, and communication skills with a focus upon meeting deadlines.
- Experience within both project (new standard product ranges) and bespoke (NSMTO / ETO) engineering design business.
- Minimum HND Level (Level 5) qualification.
- Willingness to travel overseas (~25-30% for international travel).
- Desirable: Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration or other business-relevant discipline (Business Administration, Engineering, Science).
- Desirable: Proficiency in different languages.
