Quality Engineer

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

The Quality Engineer supports the quality of finished products and manufacturing processes in industrial plant. This position also fully supports the product assurance program to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products. Here's a few things you will be responsible for: 
  • Uses engineering skills to analyze, evaluate and present solutions concerning quality factors for products and production processes.
  • Supports and enforces all ISO accreditation programs (ISO 9001:2015 & ISO/IEC 17025:2017) including arranging and preparing for accrediting body audits or customer quality audits 
  • Implement and support preventative quality measures with sourcing and design teams to ensure product quality and reliability, using PPAP and other quality control methodology.
  • Performs quality system internal audits on a defined schedule. Writes and submits audit reports to management and documents findings via the company corrective action system.
  • Maintains and evaluates quality data to generate comprehensive quality reports using statistical methods.
  • Conducts interdepartmental and management meetings to identify and delineate quality problems, establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives, and review quality system effectiveness.
  • Other duties may be assigned. 

What You Need to Succeed

Bachelor's degree (B. S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar) from four-year college or university. 

SAP experience preferred.

This position is for a New Jersey unit of Mettler-Toledo named Troemner. We are located about 15 miles from Philadelphia in Thorofare, NJ. Mettler-Toledo acquired Troemner in 2016.
