Cyber Security Architect

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Cyber Security Architect will be capable of identifying and providing guidance in the following aspects of cyber security engagements involving METTLER TOLEDO global IT environments: application security design and implementation, database security, IOT security, regulatory compliance with experience in ISO 27001/2, PCI-DSS, data privacy (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, etc.), NIST cyber security framework, risk frameworks, and Data Center security operations management. 

Your tasks: 
  • Combine security, application development, and controls framework expertise to solve business problems.
  • Reduce risks and limit exposure to liability and risk with regard to IT systems and applications. 
  • Identify gaps in the current security practices and develop recommendations for process improvements.
  • Perform security and risk assessments of new technologies or business processes to objectively provide guidance and recommendations from an Information Security best practice/regulatory standpoint.
  • Assist sites with security incident response activities. 
  • Monitor IT compliance with legal, regulatory and cultural data privacy requirements.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Information Security.
  • Define security controls for IOT devices.
  • Establish a secure-from-the-start software development framework for web applications and embedded software development.
  • Manage multiple cyber security projects.
  • Other duties may be assigned as appropriate.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or other related field of study. 
  • 4 or more years of relevant work experience in Information Security. 
  • Project management experience. 
  • Effective communication skills. 
  • Must be able to communicate business and technical resources. 
  • CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CCNS, or CCNP certifications are a plus. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% depending on initiatives and circumstances.
