Business Analyst (PLM)

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

Within his/her functional area, the PLM Business Analyst is responsible for support the activities of the Solution Architect and Product Owner on different projects in the area of PLM Solutions. He/She plans, contributes to and/or executes PLM projects with METTLER TOLEDO subsidiaries. 

The person in this position: 
  • Identifies, develops and supports business process changes.
  • Conducts detailed interrogation of customer needs and translates them into functional/non-functional requirements to improve the productivity of the business with regards to PLM.
  • Supports the definition of template processes, solutions and the end-to-end delivery process.
  • Stays up to date with new tools and features of the PLM applications.
  • Creates detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Tests against defined acceptance criteria acting as (or on behalf of) Product Owner.
  • Creates and maintains user manuals and process documentation.
  • Executes user training for new functionalities and refresh training.
  • Provides 3rd level support for complex issues to the PLM applications and related processes.
  • Supports projects delivery during the various phases of implementation, testing and delivery to production

What You Need to Succeed

  • Masters or bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent education. 
  • Good knowledge of PLM systems (Siemens Teamcenter is a plus).
  • Experience with ERP systems, especially with regards to BOM Management (Proficiency with SAP ERP is ideal).
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent communication skills (ability to communicate across different teams).
  • Independent, accurate way of working and understanding complex processes and interdependencies, high problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent team player capabilities.
  • Knowledge of ALM applications to submit results of tests (eg. Polarion) will be a plus.
  • Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends.
  • Travel requirements up to 20%.
