Senior Network Engineer

Our Opening and Your Responsibilities

  • Install, manage and support a global enterprise network infrastructure based on Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Fortigate, F5, etc.
  • Maintain Data Center and Local network infrastructure for all regions: EU, AM, AP, CN.
  • Provide professional operation and support (troubleshooting and problem solving) for network infrastructure components and services.
  • Work on incidents, service, and change requests in the central ticketing tool (Service Now) according to guidelines and ITIL framework.
  • Support planning and implementing of changes/projects/upgrades. Execute PIR.
  • Coordinate with application operation teams on planning and execution of processes and updates within the area of responsibility.
  • Cooperate with other infrastructure support teams like DC, DWS, SEC, and SAP-TEC.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems (or a related field), or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred candidates with minimum either Cisco CCNP or equivalent knowledge.
  • Proficient in English (min. B2). 
  • At least 2 years of direct experience focused on the large-scale network LAN/WAN/ WiFi implementation and management.
  • Cisco Routing/Switching implementation and support:
      • Experience with networking security devices and wireless infrastructure.
      • Support Network Quality of Service throughout the entire infrastructure.
  • Create and document high-level and detailed network designs for new and existing data centers.
  • Level 2-3 escalation support for Infrastructure based incidents.
  • Experience with large-scale monitoring systems.
  • Knowledge of Cisco product lines (is a must) including but not limited to: 
      • Catalyst Switches,
      • Nexus Switches,
      • ASR, ISR routers,
      • Cisco ASAs.
  • At least 1-year of direct experience with large-scale security implementation.
  • Your asset would be basic knowledge of Fortigate product lines including but not limited to:
      • FortiManager,
      • FortiAnalyzer,
      • Fortigate firewalls.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols, including but not limited to TCP/IP, DNS, NTP, OSPF, BGP.
  • Knowledge of Cisco ISE (is a must) and Cisco Prime (is nice to have). 
  • Good communication skills, customer orientation, and ability to independently analyze and resolve incidents.
  • Passionate, showing initiative, flexible, and drives for pragmatic solutions.
